Single portion Prato Biscuit in HatboxNEW
The hatbox contains 35 individually wrapped Prato biscuits.
The Prato Biscuits - commonly known also as cantucci or almond cantuccini - are part of the Tuscan confectionery tradition that sees them as a perfect end meal in combination with Vin Santo.
Prepared with flour, sugar, free range eggs, almonds and pine nuts, they do not contain preservatives, animal fats or vegetable fats.
Since 1858, Prato Biscuits have been baked daily and packaged by hand one by one, in the classic Blu Mattei bag.
In fact, in June 2019, the Biscottificio Mattei obtained the registration for Brand of 'Colore Unico' for its Blu bags; an important and rare award that definitively gives this historic packaging its uniqueness and belonging to the ancient Biscottificio.
Also from 2019, is the original version of the individually packaged Prato Biscuit with a brand new packaging, obviously Blue, for single dose consumption.
Ideal for trade shows, professional offices, showrooms or shops, to be presented in the hatbox as a container or as healthy snacks to be kept with you during the day.
The hat boxes are used by Biscottificio starting from the 1920s to ship our products.
A common object in homes, up until the 1960s, for the non-accessory use of hats in menswear and womenswear up until that time; Ernesto Pandolfini decided to reuse the hatboxes as shipping boxes.
